1. License Agreement — Not a Sale of Ownership

When you purchase a track from Synthetic DJ, you are not buying ownership of the music. You are purchasing a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use license to download and listen to the track on your private devices.

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, composition rights, master recording rights, and distribution rights, remain the sole and exclusive property of Synthetic DJ and Zenith Frequency Audio (a division of Synthetic DJ). Your purchase is a contribution in support of growing the Synthetic DJ platform and independent electronic music production.

2. What You Can Do (Permitted Use)

• Download the track in the format(s) provided (MP3, WAV)
• Play and listen to the track on your personal devices (phone, computer, offline players)
• Create personal playlists for your own listening
• Back up your purchased files for personal archival purposes
• Share your enthusiasm by linking others to the Synthetic DJ shop

3. What You Cannot Do (Prohibited Use)

• Resell, redistribute, or share the audio files with others
• Use the track in commercial projects, videos, podcasts, or broadcasts without a separate commercial license
• Sample, remix, or create derivative works from the track without written permission
• Upload the track to streaming platforms, file-sharing sites, or social media
• Claim ownership or authorship of the track
• Remove or alter any watermarks, metadata, or copyright notices
• Use the track in public performances, DJ sets, or events without a public performance license

4. Account Registration

To purchase tracks, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Synthetic DJ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

5. Payments & Refunds

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely via PayFast.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. Refunds will only be considered if the files are corrupted or the wrong track was delivered. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase to syntheticdj@qrmagic.co.za.

6. Intellectual Property

All music, artwork, branding, logos, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Synthetic DJ and Zenith Frequency Audio. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. The Synthetic DJ name, logo, and associated marks are registered trademarks.

7. Limitation of Liability

Synthetic DJ provides tracks "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to data loss, device damage, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific track in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa. For international customers, these terms are also designed to comply with the consumer protection and digital content regulations of the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, and other major jurisdictions.

9. Changes to Terms

Synthetic DJ reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
